Rules of the DDE Library

• Open for registered borrowers from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Maintain silence; misbehavior may lead to debarment.
• No smoking inside the library.
• Books lent with a deposit of Rs.575/- (two books for 14 days).
• Fine for overdue books will be charged as given below:
  • Rs.3 for first 10 days
  • Rs.4 for next 20 days
  • Rs.7 beyond 20 days
• Lost/damaged books must be replaced.
• Return ID card before University exams; else, fine applies.
• Mobile phones must be on silent mode.
• Books can be recalled anytime.
• Produce library card at issue/return.
• Duplicate card: Rs.200 with affidavit.
• Show ID at the main gate.
• No personal books/study material allowed inside.

Newspapers:

• The Times of India, The Hindu, Economics Times, The Daily Excelsior
• Employment News, Hind Samachar (Urdu), Dainik Jagran (Hindi), Jammu Prabhat (Dogri)

Magazines: The Business India, Outlook, Chronicle, Epilogue

Periodicals: University News, Aajkal (Urdu)
